Komfort Partitioning Systems
Komfort is probably the largest manufacturer of partitioning systems in the UK. They have a diverse range able to accommodate most partitioning requirements. Komfort produce the 600 Series, Kameo 50, Polar, Komfire 75 and 100, Klassic and Precision partitioning.
Systems
600 Series
The 600 series is a composite system. It has a distinct angular appearance. It is quick and easy to install and is suitable for most general office applications. Its main features include:
- Aluminum 50 mm composite system
- Sound insulation - solid panels 31 dB, single glazed 27 db
- Choice of BS or RAL colour coat finish
- Glazing options - single centre, single offset or double glazed
- Range of veneered doors
- Designed to be used with Komfort's other systems where a mixture of performance is required
- The uncomplicated and flexible design ensures its suitability for most general office applications
Kameo 50
This system is very similar to Komfort's 600 Series system. It is also a composite system. However, it has a rounded appearance due to having 90° and 135° radiused corner posts, fair ends and door frames. The Kameo 50 system has the following characteristics:
- Aluminum 50 mm composite system
- Radiused 90° and 135° corner posts, fair ends and door frames
- Sound insulation - solid panels 31 dB, single glazed 27 db
- Choice of BS or RAL colour coat finish
- Glazing options - single centre, single offset or double glazed
- Range of veneered doors
- Designed to be used with Komfort's other systems where a mixture of performance is required
- The uncomplicated and flexible design ensures its suitability for most general office applications
Komfire 75 & Komfire 100
The Komfire partitioning system is a stud plasterboard or proprietary aluminium system. Komfire offers exceptional acoustic performance and fire protection. It is extremely flexible, being both practical and attractive, and has therefore become one of the most popular partitioning systems used in the UK.

Kameo 75
Kameo 75 is also a proprietary aluminium/stud plasterboard system. It is similar to the Komfire system but produces a rounded finish to partitioning due to its having radiused 90° and 135° corner posts, fair ends and door frames. It produces an elegant and modern look. Kameo 75's main features include:
- Steel stud and plasterboard construction, 75 mm and 100 mm nominal thickness
- Fire resistance of half hour
- Sound insulation - solid panels 43 dB, single glazed 27 db and double 33 dB
- Choice of BS or RAL colour coat finish
- Glazing options - single centre, single offset or double glazed

Klassic
Klassic is a modular timber partition system designed to produce practical and creative office environments in traditional style. It has excellent performance qualities, is easy to build and is relocatable. Doors, storage walls and furniture can all be coordinated to match the partitioning. Its main features include:
- Steel stud and plasterboard construction 75 mm nominal thickness
- Factory manufactured components are pre-finished in clear lacquer to enhance the natural materials and ensure constant high quality
- Extensive choice of hardwoods
- Radiused 90° and 135° corner posts, fair ends and door frames
- Fire resistance of half hour
- Sound insulation - solid panels 43 dB, single glazed 27 db and double glazed 33 dB

Polar
Komfort Polar is a glass system that is simple to install and easy to relocate. Panels can be straight or curved, single or double glazed to accommodate venetian blinds. Polar creates an atmosphere of space, yet effectively provides office zones for concentration and creativity. Its main characteristics include:
- Minimalist fully single or double glazed.
- Can be silicon jointed or held together by "ghost posts".
- Designed with the minimum of components for speed of erection without compromise on strength or rigidity.
- Alternative head fixing details including concealed track.
- Accepts a variety of doors including frameless full height glazed, standard glass or veneered doors fitted into 'halo' frames, full height veneered in matching frames and sliding glass doors.
- Fire resistance of half an hour can be achieved.
- Sound insulation - single glazed 36 db and double 42 dB.
- Can be installed in conjunction with solid panels from other Komfort partitioning systems.
Precision
Precision is Komfort's steel partitioning range. It is easy to build and relocate and can be installed as a cleanroom environment such as is found in hospitals, laboratories or certain manufacturing sectors. Its key features include:
- Can carry and conceal services such as electrics, gas, air handling, water or data handling
- Easy to clean due to omission of module lien joints
- Can offer excellent fire resistance
- Glazing can be included into the panels
- Can be installed to a height of over 6m if necessary
