Critical issues
Rubie's needed more space for offices and storage, so had taken on two brand new units in Wallingford, which required knocking together and refitting. Wanting to use a local contractor, they selected Newbury Interiors through their website.
Rubie's had a rough idea of what they wanted for their new office space and Newbury Interiors' Project Manager talked them through their options in detail, creating designs which met their requirements.
As they were only able to move offices over the Christmas and New Year period, the timing of the project was critical. Newbury Interiors were able to complete all the work in time and also undertake some additional electrical work on the existing fire alarm system.
The two buildings were joined together by removing the dividing wall to create a large open plan office, two smaller offices and a comms room upstairs and a new showroom, breakout area and extensive storage on the ground floor.
What the client said
Sally Houseman, Management PA at Rubie's Masquerade commented:
"We had a rough idea of what we wanted before we met with Newbury Interiors and they created a plan which was exactly what we wanted. The work was brilliant, all was kept clean and tidy and also they helped with some additional work left over from when the property was built.
When we started on the project I was a little bit apprehensive but Newbury Interiors made it all so easy and straight forward. When we came over to look at the progress being made we could always see the project moving on. Nothing was too much trouble and any issues were sorted out straight away."
